Allocation register
Use the allocation register to schedule deliveries, create new allocations, import from third party ERP, modify exiting allocations, view driver manifests and calendars, proof of delivery.
Choose the Allocations
menu option from the left hand menu.
💡 The Allocations menu option may have been renamed in your version of Payloader, for example it could be called:
Runsheets
orScheduling
.
On mobile, first click the hamburger menu icon in the top left of your screen then follow the instructions above.
Allocation menus and filters
Click the icon on the upper right of the screen to display the allocation menu.
Allocation filters
Select Filters
to display the allocation filters.
Additional filters
Additional filters are also available in the title area of the allocation register.
- All: If no filter selected Payloader will search a range of key data fields (eg ID, name, notes etc)
- Source
- Contractor
- Driver
- Vehicle
- Vehicle type
- Document ID
- Run number
Allocation views
Toggle between the different allocations views to display summary or detailed allocation data:
Allocation
: Summary view of each drivers allocated scheduleAllocation lines
: A detailed view of each drivers allocated scheduleCalendar
: Display allocated schedule in a calendar view; ClickCalendar
again to return to allocation view
Import CSV
Import allocations from third party sources in CSV format. Click Select file
to browse for the import file, then click Upload
to begin the import process. Payloader will log and report back any errors found when attempting to import the data.
Import file column order
Allocation import CSV file columns must be in the following order:-
Date, Source, Driver, Vehicle, Vehicle Type, Notes, Destination, Item, LineNotes, Qty, AddressStreet1, AddressStreet2, AddressCity, AddressState, Email
Add allocation
From the allocation register, click the large plus icon ➕ on the right hand side of the allocation register to display the Add allocation dialog.
Allocation details
Click on the corresponding allocation line in the allocation register to open the allocation details screen.
Alternatively, click the menu icon at the end of the corresponding allocation line and select View details
.
Edit allocation
When in allocation details, click on the pencil icon ✏️ in the top right of the screen to open the Edit allocation dialog.
Alternatively, click the menu icon at the end of the corresponding allocation line and select Edit
.
Note: The Edit
menu or icon will not be available if the document is closed or the current user does not have the correct authority to edit the document.
Create docket from allocation
Click the menu icon at the end of the corresponding allocation line and select Create docket from allocation
.
This will create a new docket populated with the lines from the selected document and mark the allocation as closed.
Note: The Create docket from allocation
menu or icon will not be available if the document is closed or the current user does not have the correct authority to create dockets.
Delete allocation
Click the menu icon at the end of the corresponding allocation line and select Delete
. You will be prompted to confirm you choice.
Delete multiple allocations
Select the allocations to delete using the check-box to the left of each line.
Click Select action
from the select-box and select Delete selected
then click the CONFIRM
button.
Click the SUBMIT
button to delete the selected allocations or allocation lines.
Note: The Delete
menu will not be available if the document is closed, currently with a driver or the current user does not have the correct authority to delete the document.
Allocation staging area
Click the STAGING
button in the top right of the allocation register to access the allocation staging area. Staged allocations are not active and will not appear under drivers scheduled tasks in the app.
Customise allocation columns
See customisation.
Export allocations
Select the allocations to be exported using the check-box to the left of each allocation or allocation line.
Click Select action
from the select-box and select Export selected
then click the CONFIRM
button.
Select the export type:-
- Export allocations: Predefined column selection
- Export allocation lines: Predefined column selection
- Export selected columns: Exports columns currently displayed on the screen
Click the SUBMIT
button to export the allocation or allocation lines.
Print allocation report
Select the allocations to include using the check-box to the left of each allocation or allocation line.
Click Select action
from the select-box and select Print selected
then click the CONFIRM
button.
Enter the report title if required.
Enter the report type if required.
Select page details: Landscape/Portrait and page size.
Select the print type:-
- Print allocations: Predefined column selection
- Print allocation lines: Predefined column selection
- Print selected columns: Prints columns currently displayed on the screen
Click the SUBMIT
button to print the allocation or allocation lines.
